What I Like About Open Relationship Dating

This site is the real deal, and they’ve already worked out all the bugs from what I can tell. What I liked the most is that there are actual couples profiles, so if you’re a couple looking for a third or just want prospective dates to see that you are already part of a relationship, this is a great feature to take advantage of.

I also like the 30 free “Flirts” they give you when you join. Even though you need to upgrade in order to fully message (which is cheap if you take one of the amazing deals they send you within the week after joining), you can use these Flirts to break the ice with other members. They’re kind of like a wink from across the room, which is is super fun!

The free sites can’t compete with the features at OpenRelationshipDating.com which, in addition to basic chat and instant messaging, includes video chat. It’s awesome to see and hear who you’re planning on meeting up with on live cam beforehand.

Areas For Improvement

Because the site is relatively new, the number of members can vary from city to city. All this means is that you should take a good look around with the free membership before deciding to upgrade or not. Keep in mind that because we’re talking about people looking for open relationships, this site is never going to have the numbers of a site like Passion.com. If you don’t find enough prospective dates, then you might want to consider PolyamoryDate.com where you’ll find members seeking threesomes or casual hookups. Polyamory Date also has lots of nudity which you won’t find at Open Relationship Dating.

I’m also not crazy about the interface, but once you get used to things it’s simple to use.

I Went On a Date One Week After Joining!

I’m from a big city, so there were quite a few hotties I was interested in. I don’t always end up going on dates from all the sites I review, but I made a quick connection here. I can’t tell you how cool it is to go on a date and be able to avoid the awkward conversation where you tell the person you’re into open relationships, and then watch their face drop. (The guy was nice enough but the chemistry wasn’t there.) Regardless, I’m happy with the site and recommend it if you’re looking for open relationship dating or meeting other poly people.
