Chemistry and Taboo Relationships

I CANNOT LOVE YOU, YOU’RE TOO MAGICAL

You ever meet someone SO amazing, you know you have to create some kind of limiting boundary on the relationship… or else? That person who makes you feel magical and special and sacred and sweet in ways that almost no one ever has? That person who shares a chemistry with you that is far beyond words and promises and fears and hopes? Yes, THAT person. Your lover’s girlfriend. Or your best friend’s sister. Or your ex-lover’s ex. Or someone that just connects to you in both the MOST amazing and also the MOST communally awkward ways. That person who you can’t forget!

There has to be some kind of middle ground. You shouldn’t give up trying to feel the magic with this person just because they’re with someone else who makes it a bit perplexing to manifest destiny. But one should also not abandon one’s entire existence and past just to have a future in the present with this heavenly human blessing.

Talk to your friend if you have the courage. Say “I have an awesome connection to your partner. I hope we can all explore our potential passions together!” Say “I like her more than I expected! Can we hang out sometimes?” Say “I think I’m going to have to come up with a solution to this amazing feeling I have for you… like how will we negotiate balancing our desires and your circumstances?”

But where there’s a will, there’s a way to find love.

I do NOT recommend abandoning your feelings, just because one of the greatest lovers you’ve EVER had in your life has a boyfriend or girlfriend. Just… get intellectually and emotionally (but not morally) creative!

Something is better than nothing!

Love them in whatever way you can, even if it’s just once a year in a rare tropical destination. Anything, anytime, anywhere is worth it for the greatest loves and greatest sex partners of your life!

Seriously in love,
Addi Stewart
